As the culmination of an East Coast tour that included performances in Washington, D.C., Boston, and New York, including a live recital on WGBH (which you can listen to anytime on the web as a WGBH Command Performance) and other radio appearances, Nadia played her Carnegie Hall debut recital on November 15, 2003 to a sold-out hall.

The recital was described as "a journey through four centuries of piano music as Nadia Shpachenko performed classical Mozart, romantic Chopin, mystical Scriabin, modern Kirchner, and the premiere of one of acclaimed jazz pianist and composer Michael Garson's forays into classical composition."

Nadia's deep interpretation and emotionally expressive performances delighted classical music connoisseurs as well as audiences new to the genre. By bringing out the unique character of each of the diverse pieces that made up the recital's expedition through musical history, her performance not only entertained but deepened audience's understanding and appreciation of the musical art.
